The manipulation of Big Data, conspiracy theory or reality?

The mass storage of data that runs through the various global communications networks is known by its name in English, Big Data , and from the very beginning of the Internet, or even before, When telephone communications and the use of credit cards were universalized, there has been a fear that governments and corporations know too much about you and can use that knowledge against you or, in the best case, in your favor.

Hilbert believes that the rapid development of technologies of information and the evolution of intelligences such as Deep Learning, fueled by a Big Data of superhuman proportions, will lead us to a kind of world government and a new species of human being formed by the fusion of artificial intelligence with biology .

Big Data can have beneficial uses, to plan the development of a nation or its health and education programs; it can provide more reliable and up-to-date data than those given by national censuses that are conducted every 10 years, but certainly the possibilities of manipulating citizens to obtain political or economic advantages are usually more tempting .

As always, the problem is not that machines with artificial intelligence will dominate the human being, but that some human beings use these machines to dominate the rest, as has been done since the invention of the First tool.
