1.San Juan de Gaztelugache in Bermeo, Basque Country
In the Basque population of Bermeo there is a staircase called from «Via Crucis» that brings us closer to the hermitage of San Juan de Gaztelugache .The road, which ends at the stairs, goes from the mainland to the island where the 10th century church, passing over two arches.
They are 231 the steps that have to be climbed but the view during the whole ascent is spectacular and worth the trip.
2.Stairs to the sky of Oahu Island, in Hawaii
On the Island of Oahu, in Hawaii, you can climb 3,922 steps to get closer to the Heaven, you can't actually upload them without committing an infraction because 30 years ago it was forbidden for the public to use this metal ladder, because it was feared it was not safe enough.

The depth of the well is almost 30 meters, 20 meters wide at the top and has a total 3,500 steps It is located in the Rajasthan region of India.
4.Penon de Guatape in Antioquia (Colombia)
702 steps are the ones to climb to reach the top of this colossal penon. is located in Colo Mbia near Antioquia and is also known as «El Penol» .The builders of the staircase took advantage of a large crack in the gigantic monolith to fix it.
It was declared a national monument by the Colombian Government.The Tahamies Indians, former inhabitants of that area, worshiped the penon.The monolith is 220 meters high.
5.Awaji hyakudanen in Japan
This amazing staircase is located in Hyogo Prefecture in Japan .It covers the side of a mountain that was completely demolished in 1995 during an earthquake.It is both a monument in memory of the victims of the earthquake and an ecological project for the rehabilitation of natural areas.
In it alternate the flights of stairs with impressive flower beds .There are exactly 1575 steps and more than 200 flower quadrants .
